In support of the Government initiative to cushion the needy and the less privileged from the effects of the Pandemic, the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) has consistently called out to employers to support in the response towards Covid-19 through donations in cash or in kind.

We laud our member Mini Bakeries Limited (“Supaloaf”) who heeded to this call and sent out a donation of two hundred (200) freshly baked loaves to the Children’s home in Dagoretti run by Feed the Children (FEED) NGO. The young boys and girls accompanied by the Operations Officer Mr. Peter Kimuge were very joyful to receive the support.

“It is with such acts that these young boys and girls feel appreciated as part of the society.” Said Mr. Kimuge. He thanked FKE and Mini Bakeries for the kind gesture.

On 1st April 2020, FKE received donations of gel sanitisers from one of its members Beiersdorf East Africa Limited. The donation was distributed to some of the members in need of the commodity to help in preventing the spread of Covid-19.  

FKE appreciates the donation from this member and invites more donations of essential commodities towards this initiative.
