30 Aug 2024

The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE), Kenya Union of Domestic Hotels Educational Institutions Hospitals & Allied Workers (KUDHEIHA), Longitude Finance, and the International Labour Organization (ILO) held a meeting on the Better Regional Migration Management (BRMM) project at the FKE headquarters on the 30th of August 2024. The focus of the meeting was to identify gaps in the implementation of the BRMM project, review its strategies, and discuss recommendations arising from recent monitoring missions.

The Better Regional Migration Management project is a program that aims to enhance migration governance across the East and Horn of Africa, helping to facilitate a more humane and orderly labour migration that safeguards the rights of migrant workers and their families. In partnership with the ILO, FKE has supported growth-oriented Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the practical tools for business growth, assisting them through training and non-training interventions with a focus on business strategy to expand their businesses.
