Ms. Grace Kaome, HR & Admin Manager, represented the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) at the Tripartite Workshop on Strategies to Achieve Decent Work and Enhance Productivity in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the African Regional Labour Administration Centre (ARLAC) in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The workshop opened by Honorable July G. Moyo, Minister of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare of Zimbabwe, gathered representatives from nine African countries to discuss and develop strategies for promoting productivity in MSMEs.
This platform presented an opportunity for FKE to learn from various African nations, contributing to better workplace practices and the growth of MSMEs and African enterprises at large. This is particularly important because most African countries including Kenya are characterised by the growth of MSMEs that have great potential to contribute to economic growth and the creation of decent jobs.
