The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) hosted a transformative 3-day Training of Trainers session at the Fairview Hotel for facilitators of the Female Future Leadership Program (FFP)—a flagship initiative committed to advancing gender equality and empowering women in corporate leadership.

The opening session was graced by Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director and CEO of FKE, who participated both as a speaker and a student, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and women empowerment.

In her address, Ms. Mugo reflected on her own leadership journey, reaffirming FKE’s mandate through FFP to foster inclusive growth, fairness, and capacity-building across Kenya’s workforce. Her participation marked a symbolic return to the foundations of leadership, reinforcing the ethos of the program—leadership is a journey, not a destination.

As part of the trainer development track, the trainees were taken through the program's journey map and a session on adult learning principles, equipping them with tools and methodologies tailored to the needs of adult learners, enhancing the andragogy effectiveness of the program by rooting it in proven learning theories.
