FKE Represents Employers at SASASNET Conference in Mombasa

Ms. Grace Kaome, Manager – Human Resource and Administration at the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE), represented the Executive Director at the Sub-Saharan Africa Skills and Apprenticeship Stakeholders Network (SASASNET) Conference in Mombasa from the 14th to the 16th of May 2025.

Held under the theme “Transforming Apprenticeship Systems in the Informal Economy and for Youth Employability in Africa,” the conference gathered regional stakeholders focused on advancing skills development. Ms. Kaome presented on the role of employers in promoting quality skills and participated in a panel discussion on policy frameworks, stressing the need for inclusive, employer-led approaches to apprenticeship systems.
