The Africa Employers’ Summit 2025 brought together an incredible community of employers, CEOs, policymakers, and development partners from across the African continent. The atmosphere was one of conversation as delegates connected, exchanged ideas, and forged impactful partnerships aimed at driving enterprise growth, advancing social justice, and shaping the future of work across Africa.

The gathering was more than just a summit—it was a movement. A movement rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for a stronger, more inclusive Africa.

The opening ceremony set the tone for the event, featuring powerful remarks from key leaders in Africa’s employment and development landscape. These included Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, EBS—President of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and Secretary General of BUSINESSAfrica, Dr. Gilda Odera, National President of the Federation of Kenya Employers, Mr. Baïdy Agne, President of the BUSINESSAfrica Employers’ Confederation, and Dr. Alfred N. Mutua, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

The Keynote Address delivered by Hon. Prof. Kithure Kindiki, EGH, Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, provided a compelling call to action for employer-led development and inclusive economic transformation across the continent.

Session on Shaping Africa’s Future Through Youth Employment and Skills Development, introduced by a leading voice in youth empowerment and enterprise innovation.
