The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) celebrated International Women's Day on the 6th of March, reflecting on the growth and achievements of women within the organization. The event provided a platform for the ladies at FKE to share their journeys, highlighting the empowering environment at FKE that has nurtured their careers and helped them embrace life’s milestones, such as motherhood.
Hosted by Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director and CEO of FKE, the event emphasized FKE’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where women are valued, safe, and supported in achieving their goals in the business world and other areas of their lives.
Prior to the celebration the FKE staff convened for a staff welfare AGM, where members discussed ways to improve support for one another. The AGM featured elections for new committee members, bringing fresh perspectives to the future of staff welfare at FKE.
The event reinforced FKE’s dedication to empowering its employees and creating a supportive, growth-focused environment for all.
