On 15th November 2024, Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director and CEO of the Federation of Kenya Employers connected with Cohort 20 of the Female Future Leadership Program- A leadership program implemented by FKE and sponsored by the NHO to strengthen gender equality in the workplace, improve women’s representation in management and draw more women to the top echelon of the private and public sectors.
During the session, Ms. Mugo shared her personal experiences and success stories, inspiring the participants to continue building their skills and creating lasting networks. "As someone who participated in the very first cohort back in 2013, I can confidently say that this program has been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. It has shaped the trajectory of my career, and I’m excited to see how it will continue to empower the next generation of female leaders!" Ms. Mugo stated.
Emphasizing the importance of gender equality in leadership, Ms. Mugo affirmed, "The future of leadership is female, and we must continue to push for greater representation in top roles, boards, and entrepreneurship. The gender balance in our society makes it clear: women belong at the top!"
